 The main objective of the Garner Road Young Men’s Christian Association (YMCA) is to aid in the development of Christian Standards. In the attainment of this goal, the Garner Road YMCA seeks to promote the physical, mental, and spiritual uplift of our constituency and to emphasize reverence for God, responsibility for the common goal, respect for personality and the application of the Golden Rule in human relationships. The Garner Road YMCA is one of seven (7) independent African American YMCA’s in the United States. |

The Garner Road Family YMCA is proud to announce that a New super capacity Air Conditioning System has been installed to accomodate the needs of our main building! This project was long over due and we are excited to finally bring this project to closure. The completeion of this project means that many of our summer youth programs will be able be to utilize both the main building and our multi-purpose center. |
